Seriously, I wish I had a camera right now so I could take a shot of my big, fat grin that just spread across my entire face after spotting this. I AM AMAZED. Holly looks LOVELY, she’s such a PINK LADY in this, oh WOW. You know what I love. And… AAAAH! LUCY HAD A COMEBACK!? I missed her, dang! <3 And she looks kick-ass as usual. I hope we’ll see her again VERY very soon, because… well. BECAUSE! :D

WOOH. This was gonna be a lot less scrappy, but I totally ran out of steam! Sorry guys!
Anyway, this is a stupid gifty thing I’ve been working on on and off for Sanne and Amy for the last odd week :3 I’ve wanted to draw Amy something since forever and with Muse Mentor uploads looming now seemed as good a time as any! And Sanne drew me an adorable Chainey and has seemed downish on herself lately and also just has fun freakin characters to draw, and also any excuse to bug Esteban is good. ALL GOOD REASONS I THINK.
Based off of this Community scene, but it’s really just a reason to draw adorable dudes and ladies dressed up like hotties. (oh no my Esteboner is showing)

Just so you know. Hahahahahaa! :D I loooove how you drew all these guys here, they look PERFECT. I recognized Kieran INSTANTLY when this popped up on my dash and I was like “No, she didn’t… she can’t… SHE DID! OH GOD!” and I’m just kinda melting into a happy puddle of goo because. All kinds of awesome, that’s what this is.
All those awesome expressions, you’re just so GOOD with them, ugh! ENVY! I just love seeing my characters (and others as well) in different styles and you just drew them to perfection. Also, I must say that Mona, Charlie and Kiers can pull off the Esteban look quite well which is something I would’ve NEVER expected. xD OH MAN. POOR ESTEBAN. Then again, he’s Esteban. He’ll get by. xD

I've got a question for you, Sanne! Would you ever consider writing a novel about your OC's? Or would you be more interested in a comic-type thing?

I would love to do something of that sort with my characters! If I could have my way, regardless of talent and all that, I’d already have a HUGE franchise that would make me super rich and awesome so I could travel around the world, promoting my own stuff, doing all the things I love so much, watching my own creations being made into movies, etc. ;D
Sad truth is, though, that I’m a terrible, terrible writer, hands down. And that’s still a very nice way to put it because actually, I’m no writer at all. I’m a hopeless case, I suck at putting words together so they make pretty sentences and I suck even more with English words since German’s my first language. :D
Despite all of this, I’m super uncreative when it comes to making up coherent, ongoing storylines and that would make the comic thing a little tricky, too, since comics need stories. They also need artists who are confident and who believe in themselves and who are talented and willing enough to put a lot of effort into something to keep it going and I am nothing of that. I couldn’t keep such a huge thing up, I know myself too well.
However, a few lovely people tried to encourage me to still do something (because people really seem to be interested for some reason) and I am thinking about making some short episodes or something like that and right now, I find myself in a phase in which I’m making minor “changes/adjustments” to my characters and their “universe” here and there and I shall see where this will lead me. Probably nowhere. Gotta be honest here: I have a serious self-esteem problem, like in “I don’t have it.” and even if I had ideas and the required talents, I still wouldn’t be sharing anything with you these days because of reasons and a cocktail of psychological issues I am not actually willing to go into depth about. ;)
TL;DR: I want to but for several reasons I just can’t right now. You can be sure of one thing, though: I’ll let you know when I am about to start something!
(Oh man, I answered this question so often before, haha. People are probably already sick of it. xD Guess I’m just gonna link to this or other blurbs about the matter in the future.)

Awhile ago Sanne posted about how some of her very early ideas for the TCS characters involved Charlie having pyrokinesis. While this is no longer the case, it is now my head-canon that Charlie is very good at accidentally setting things on fire.

Oh god. xD I am pretty glad that TCS is waaay past this terribly bad and awkward early stage in which the characters were totally silly and had random superpowers but this is just too much fun and I pretty much lost the ability to can. Also, pretty lineless Shonk art. HGFGFHFHFG! ♥ That wasn’t a sentence. Sorry.
I JUST LOVE THIS HEAD-CANON, OKAY?! I think I have to make this canon because it would be such a Charlie thing. She got that from her dad, btw. Luke is most definitely prone to household accidents. Like, he looks at a lightbulb and it bursts out of spite or so.
Right now, I’m also thinking about Charlie’s later relationship with Kieran who constantly attracts trouble himself… uh oh. Duo of destruction.
